My mother and I were spending a couple of days celebrating her 82nd birthday and it was wonderful. Everyone at the King and Prince was just lovely to her. We made special memories. As always, thank you. What a beautiful environment you get to work in every day…. We stayed in an ocean front villa on the fourth floor and the views and sound from the Great Atlantic Ocean were splendid! Beyond the relaxing atmosphere of the villa, the next best part was the fantastic food and excellent service at the ECHO Restaurant.
The menu has a great variety of food choices and the preparation made for superior tasting. The staff was very attentive, professional and friendly. There is biking, trolley tours, and opportunities to learn about shrimping in Georgia. A wonderful mini-vacation!
Ocean front, gorgeous pool areas, beautiful bar and restaurant, excellent service with historic, very well Staying at a resort in chat room rooms. The only thing I can think here is that people are trying to keep this resort a secret. Do not miss out if you are headed to St. Simons Island, we stayed in an ocean front room more of a junior suitethat was very large, beautifully appointed, very comfortable bed. Two large screen TVs. More than everything you could want in a hotel on the National Historic register. It lived up to its reputation of being a fine hotel.
The views from the ocean front room were gorgeous, loved having a roomy balcony in which to wind down after a day of golf, walking on the beach or relaxing by the gorgeous pool. The room was ample size, the bed super comfy with luxe linens, the bathroom had nice fixtures, plush towels and top of the line toiletries. We had breakfasts and dinner there and the menu for both had a great selection and the prices were very, very reasonable. We played golf at their course about 20 minutes away and it was in great condition, and very scenic.
Four holes on the back nine go out into the marsh and has some of the most beautiful scenery of any course along the SC or Georgia coast. Looking so forward to going back, it is the perfect half way stop on our way to Florida from North Carolina or for a week getaway with family. Old beach charm! Gorgeous room with fabulous view but the best was the staff. I particularly thank Emily at the desk.
What a gracious and knowledgeable hostess. Our room was beyond expectations, the housekeeping staff was efficient, attentive. I have been to larger or newer this one is on historic registry but do not recall a better or accommodating staff.
Emily, our sincere thanks for helping your "mountain living" guest a real beach experience. We look fwd to returning. Bell staff was excellent - David made everything go smoothly when we arrived and departed. Concierge service was excellent - Susan was very helpful in making several reservations for us.
Selection and quality was very much appreciated. The staff is one of best parts of staying at the King and Prince. Everyone is very thoughtful and caring to insure that you are enjoying your stay. Last week my wife and I had the privilege of staying for two nights at your beautiful resort, The King and Prince.
Simons Island was the perfect place to get away for a few days and we enjoyed every minute. We were given one of the rooms in the original part of the hotel that overlooked the ocean. Please convey my appreciation to anyone else responsible for making this a very memorable stay for my wife and I. The historic King and Prince was truly a place I will long remember. Terrific staff. Exceptional job, arranged by concierge, by local garage for no charge! Tennis pro is exceptional especially with young. The people make the hotel a great experience for the whole family.
My wife and I want to express to you and your staff how much we enjoyed our stay at your hotel. Our first encounter was with Emily at the front desk who treated us like royalty. From then on, every encounter with your personnel was excellent. If it was breakfast on the patio, or dinner again it was first class. We have been in the hospitality business all our lives and we know that to attain that level of service is true dedication to the industry. Keep up the great work, have a very prosperous and successful season. Once again thank you. We finally had the opportunity to use it this week during our Spring Break.
It was so nice to enjoy the beach, pool, golf, etc. The hotel staff were so friendly and the hotel grounds were wonderful. Our 4 girls ages 6, 5, 2, and 1 thoroughly enjoyed the pool. The laughter and giggles were priceless.
My husband was thrilled to play golf since he hasn't gotten to play much since our move to the Northeast. For me, it was nice to get an opportunity to simply have a real vacation with my family. The magic of King and Prince is the casual charm and endless options of fun. Toddlers to teens, parents to grandparents; there's something to do. Multiple pools, a quaint town, boutiques, local BBQ's and tennis courts just to start I have made many memories there with my family. It is so close to the beach that you are NOT wore out by the time you get to your umbrella.
It has a very safe atmosphere; lots to do bikes, paddle boarding, kayaking etc. An outdoor fire pit for relaxing and sipping a glass of wine in the cooler evening. From the moment we walked in the entrance to the King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort, we were thoroughly impressed. The interior decor was upscale yet warm and inviting and the personnel we encountered were all very pleasant and accommodating. The blue and white decor of our 2nd floor room was crisp and comfortable and wow, what a pleasant view from our balcony.
Overall, what a wonderful trip and a Great Prize. Special thanks to you for making and then having to re-make all the arrangements for us. We thoroughly enjoyed it and appreciate all the work the resort put into our visit. We would definitely recommend the King and Prince Resort as a great place to come to relax and enjoy yourself. Sincerely, Judy S. This is our 3rd or 4th stay at this resort. We have always been pleased with the rooms, service and friendly atmosphere. The renovations of the lobby, restaurant and bar area are stunning. The decor although modern blends well with the older section of the hotel and has made the lobby a welcoming, relaxing place for drinks and dining.
It seems to now be a very popular place for locals as well as tourists. We usually opt for an oceanfront room. Our plans are to return as often as possible. Did not know this gem was hidden way out by the coast. Had driven past it before but never drove in to realize it sits right on the beach and affords private access to the water.
They even have swimming pools overlooking the sea! I have not been there before their renovations but I think what they have done with Staying at a resort in chat room place is very stylish and classy. There is an airy open feel to the floor plan and the different seating areas make it a welcome entrance.
I'd love to just sit by the fireplace with some wine and a book! We dined at Echo and enjoyed the service and the food. I was expecting exorbitant prices given the place is a historical hotel and they just renovated but you'll be surprised they have some very affordable prices. Start a chat.
